I was quite shy in HS but I had enough friends (two special friends since middle school!) but did enjoy AFS club and going to West Virginia my Senior Year as an interstate exchange student.

However, I have one memory I would like to share of a child petrified by my enthusiasm from a class.I believe also my Senior year I took a child education class and my class started a preschool in HS and for the experience we extended or outreached this school to the community also. I was also working at Riverside Bakery part-time which is still owned by the family I believe and a great experience. Anyway. I promoted this school and was excited that the owner's son was coming to this preschool. Unfortunately, the child was possibly terrified by this "preschool experience"at MCHS and never came back. I also remember writing a story about this in my journalism class that was basically copied by a Reporter at the time. Oh well, I survived and didn't suffer any major trauma.
